Gili Air Divers is staffed by Padi & SSI international Instructors and guides with many years experience in the waters surrounding the Gilis.
The Dive center itself offers a great working environment which attracts the best instructors and guides.
We are very proud of our team and they are equally proud and happy to be part of the Gili Air Divers team. This shows every time they teach or guide divers, as they give you the best experience available for diving and learning to dive in the Gilis.
Awarded in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 by the TRIPADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE, mentioned in several Travel Books such as Lonely Planet, le Routard, Petit Fute, you can make sure we will look after you.
All of our Padi & SSI diving courses are run in small groups making sure you get the best teaching available, our Padi & SSI instructors take great pride in what they do and ensure you always receive the best training.
For Divers and students we offer a large selection of dive sites, from vibrant coral reefs, wrecks, to specialist sand and muck diving. Gili’s Macro life equals some of the best in the world. We guarantee you will come across "octopus", "seahorses" and a wonderful array of strange and wonderful "nudibranches".
The Gilis are a perfect destination for underwater photographers, we can always provide a private guide so you have nothing to worry about except getting the perfect shot.
When ever possible we provide longer dive times allowing you more time to get that perfect shot. Your private guide is trained to find the hidden and camouflaged creatures that make for amazing subjects.
We run regular "beach and underwater clean ups" working together with the local villagers on the Island, these clean ups help us to show how important it is to protect the local environment and create an interest in conservation within the local community's.

Living in Lombok, he is in charge of our big boat. The first one working in Gili Air Divers, he is always hyperactive.

Local from Gili Air, he used to work as a fisherman. Whenever he has some time off during the day you will hear him playing on his guitare.
Captain Syukur
Originally from eastern Lombok, he used to be a fishermen and a compressor diver for years. He knows the site as well as we do and is also a very well trained Scuba Diver.

From Flores, he is the first one jumping to help you get ready on the boat. He loves sharing good jokes.
